The Value of Curiousity

In the Sydney Weekend magazine on March 11-12, 2023, Matt Deighton wrote a feature article titled ‘Big Bang Theory’. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a free version of this online; however, the article is available with a subscription. (The Sydney Weekend article is a version of the article published in the Adelaide Advertiser). The story is about a young Australian scientist who was appointed as the youngest Professor of Physics at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at the ripe old age of twenty-seven.

The headline reads:

Meet one of the world’s most important young scientists, pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence, machine learning and how we examine the building blocks of the universe. And she’s from Australia.
